I know I wouldn't and that is exactly why no matter what you hear I 100% do not recommend working here. The Jungle Book is a 2016 American adventure drama film directed and produced by Jon Favreau, written by Justin Marks and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. I mean who would ever want their child to be told how awful they are and how much they suck at their job not just in a calm tone but yelled at.in front of guests and co-workers just for forgetting to scoop a couple pieces of popcorn off the ground or putting a box of candy in upside down when stocking. After working at any place you expect to find some flaws in the system however, if I were a parent and I cared about my child and what his or her first work environment is going to be and how they would be treated by management I would never want my child to work here. Rules and policies are extremely inconsistent and basically go with how you manager is doing that day. ![]() The management staff will yell and take every emotion from out of work out on you if anything is not completed to their liking. Your job title can advance a few times but any of the raises that happen to qualify you for that area of work is going to be around 15 cents. However, now having worked here for 2 years there are basically no advancement opportunities that make life even close to affordable in the Grand Rapids area. When I worked we had 100+ employees so you got to make a lot of great friends! Definitely an amazing first job!Ĭelebration is a place that I grew up at, I saw my first movie there and I had heard of so many great experiences from both people who worked there and people who just went to see a movie and I wanted to be a part of that. Free movies and earned guest passes and discounted concessions and screenings! ![]() The benefits are what really make this job amazing. The pay is minimum or barely over it, so it’s not livable. ![]() It’s also extremely easy to change availability. ![]() All scheduling and requesting days off is online. Its also easy to have people pick up shifts when I worked because we had so many employees. But you really get that with any job.Īs long as you request a couple weeks in advanced it’s SUPER easy to get days off. You get well trained a few days in each area with a well made out training manual! It does usually take a while to get promoted in this job although, sometimes it feels as if you aren’t heard by managers. If you get promoted you get to learn to be a cook or guest relations or projection or bar tend or become a trainer. You get cleaning experience, customer service experience, and also experience with food, and stocking. You get to be trained a little bit of everywhere. This was my first job and still out of all of the jobs I’ve had, this was my top favorite one! ![]()
